Become a Member

The Society represents law enforcement agencies throughout the metropolitan area but has its greatest concentration of membership from the various departments located in Westchester County. We are very proud of our award winning Pipes and Drums of the Police Emerald Society of Westchester.

1. Member -Any person of Irish lineage, who is active or retired police officer as defined in the Criminal Procedure Law of the State of New York, is eligible for membership.
2. Associate Member - Any person of Irish lineage who is an active or retired law enforcement officer but is not eligible for membership in #1 shall be eligible for associate membership. An Associate Member may not vote or hold office in the Society, but is otherwise entitled to any and all other benefits.

Yearly dues are $30, PAYABLE AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH YEAR. Monthly Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month, except November and December which are held on the 3rd Thursday. Locations are announced.
