Hello All:

  I would like to take this time to thank all the 

  members and friends of the Society for

  participating in this years Jim Byrne Super

  Raffle.

  This is the Societies only fundraiser of the year

  and it helps our Society take care of business

  and also helps the Society help others with

  donations to needy causes, Thank you again!

  A special Thank you to Rob Nethercott and Justin

 Jacobsen for Co-chairing the raffle and Thank you

 to the members who went above and beyond selling

 multiple amounts of raffles, Thank you and Job well done!

Our History

The Police Emerald Society of Westchester (PESW) was established in 1968. We are one of the largest and oldest Emerald Societies in the tri-state area. The Society consists of active and retired police officers.

The Society was conceived with 5 objectives:
 

  1. To develop and foster a spirit of camaraderie and fellowship amongst its members
  2. To uphold and defend the constitution of the United States and the State of New York at all times
  3. To instill and preserve in its members the heritage of their Gaelic culture
  4. Whenever possible, assist members and their families in times of need
  5. To award scholarships to children and grandchildren of Society members as provided by our by-laws
