Welcome to the Police Emerald Society of Westchester web site. We are made up of active and retired law enforcement officers. Our members either work in Westchester or live in Westchester.
We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month except in July and August.
Our next meeting is Thursday October 24 at the Elks Lodge in Yorktown.

1968 Police Emerald Society of Westchester was created.
The Police Emerald Society of Westchester (PESW) was established in 1968. We are one of the largest and oldest Emerald Societies in the tri-state area. The Society consists of active and retired police officers.
Band was founded in May 1973.

The Society was conceived with 5 objectives:
The National Conference of Law Enforcement Emerald Societies (NCLEES) was established in 1995. NCLEES is registered as a non-profit organization with the Internal Revenue Service and is incorporated in the state of Maryland.
We are a political umbrella organization representing Emerald Societies from various professional backgrounds united by a common goal. The Grand Council includes twenty-three organizations with a combined membership of nearly twenty-five thousand strong.
